To me, our life is like a canvas that we have been given & it's our responsibility to create something beautiful.  Our lives should add to those around us!  I enjoy doing many things while looking to God in all areas of my life.  After all He is our Master Creator (Adonai Elohim) (2 Samuel 7:22) or an Artist, in my opinion. 

You can look all around you & find Him.  He created the cool breeze that refreshes us, the water we drink, the flowers we smell, our friends & family that we love so much, etc.  He has created something beautiful & has given us so much.  The least we can do is honor Him & do the same in return! 

I believe seeking balance in our lives is one way we can do this.  To me balance doesn't look like a scale w/ two sides sitting equally because our lives have more too them than that.  Often in different seasons He leads us to focus on one area more than another.  Instead balance to me is an overall picture of everything in our lives being taken care of.  Topics that I will include here are... our home life & responsibilities as a spouse/parent/child, making sure our financial house is in order, taking care of our bodies so we are healthy, facing & feeling all of our emotions, gaining mental strength by replacing negative thoughts w/ positive ones, & most importantly taking care of our spiritual lives by spending time w/ God daily. 

I've had this website for some time now but haven't done much w/ it or not consistently anyways. So as I've been praying recently for the purpose of this site, I felt this was what God wanted to come from this... a balanced Work of ART... that reflects Him in every way.  This doesn't mean my life isn't messy or perfect... actually the opposite!  It means I will be sharing my messy, not-so-perfect life, w/ all of my readers in order to bring about His Message (our message comes from our mess right?!).  As you read, I hope you will be blessed, see how to share your mess w/ others, bring balance to your life & learn how to create something real & beautiful to show your appreciation to The One & Only True God that has given you this canvas of life to work with.  He cares about the smallest things in your life to the biggest dreams in your heart!  Share w/ me, more importantly share w/ Him & enjoy reading!
