Postal Procrastination 02/22/2011
Does anyone else suffer from this? I love sending cards & letters & have no problem getting to a Blue Box to send them off (I live in rural Ne, so I don't have a mailbox outside my door lol), however when it comes to shipping off gifts/packages, it is like pulling teeth to get myself into the Post Office. I have no idea what's up with this, but I just sent off some gifts to my family that I intended to send off in July/Aug! Oh boy. Better late than never though, right!? Hope so! I used to think I had this problem because in Omaha I'd always have to stand in those long lines at the P.O. & it's not like there's anything to look at or entertain you in there lol. Now we live in a town of about 200 people & there's never a line (maybe 1 person in front of you), but I still can't seem to get in there as soon as I'd like. Either way, I'm trusting that my gifts arrive on each of my loved ones doorsteps at "just the right time." I pray that they will all be blessed by our gifts even if they were sent a little late. May God not allow my "postal procrastination" to hinder His gifts of love towards them! One other thing~ I did receive a little bit of a payback from the Post Office today... I received about 6 pieces of mail from Dec!... that was last year! haha... Over 2 mths behind... guess that's what I get for avoiding them as long as possible.
