A Work of A.R.T.

Do you ever feel the need to look back over the last year, ten years, etc. of your life & celebrate the good things God has done in your life? Andy & I like to do this each year. We also enjoy setting new goals for our marriage together for the year ahead.

Well here it is February already… the month of “love”… especially for us because we are not only celebrating Valentine’s Day with the rest of you, but this year we are celebrating 3 years of marriage!

This past year has brought many exciting things our way. Andy wrapped up his football season in May. The season was very exciting for us, but also a challenge as owners of the team. Andy is an outstanding football player. He even has several “opposing” teams trying to recruit him to play this year! We are taking a year off & if God leads us to, we will continue w/ the Crusaders in the 2012 season!

In June, I celebrated my 10 yr. high school reunion! It was fun to see my old classmates & I’m thankful for Facebook so we can stay in touch.

Chris, Kelleen & our niece Izzy came to visit us all in July. This was a wonderful time as the little ones grow so fast & we don’t get to see them very often. We took them to Chuck E. Cheese’s & I think us adults had just as much fun watching her, as she did playing. J

In August I was able to go to Colorado for the 1st time with my friend Dayna for some ministry work. What a heavenly place! The ministry that I received there & was able to be a part of, really impacted my life. I was also able to visit w/ Scott’s (my step-dad’s) cousin Debbie. She has taken me under her wings & is truly a God-send. Andy & I cannot wait to visit CO together, as he wants to show me all the awesome places his dad took him to as a kid… I look very much forward to this!

Andy made some changes with A+ Tile Co this fall and is again the sole owner/operator. This has brought a lot of freedom & joy back to him & Will (his good childhood friend & previous business partner). He is still ready to leave tile though… and soon, as it has taken quite a toll on his body. His two brothers currently work for him & he enjoys getting to see them more often.

Also this fall, I graduated my year mentorship program called B.L.A.S.T. (Building Leaders, Authors, Speakers & Teachers). The past year gave me many tools to continue growing as a speaker & hopefully one day as an author. I’ve recently been asked to attend a missions trip to Africa, as a keynote speaker! I am very humbled & honored by this opportunity & Andy & I are currently seeking God for His will in this. I’ve also become certified as a wholistic health coach & consultant so my coaching practice continues to grow.

Then in Nov/Dec we moved… yep again. Haha. We pray we get to stay put for a while this time! We are really enjoying our new home. It’s very peaceful & warm. It will be fun to have friends & family over once the weather warms up.

And last but not least the new year has already brought new changes for us. We’ve added another nephew to the bunch, David has moved in w/ us & I’ve embarked on a fun new journey with Thirty-One gifts.
